Time to Shovel out the Car

Melissa's area had 27 inches of snow in a 12 hour period, along with strong winds so it made for a real blizzard. This morning it was time to tackle shoveling out the car. Wish I was there to help her out and maybe have a good snow ball fight or build a snowman or two.

Wow! That is a lot of digging out to do. However, I like that you also saw the chance for some play in the work. Too often we forget to see and do that.

I think it's great that she can still smile with all that digging ahead of her! I had to shovel last night when I got home, and not nearly that much, and I certainly wan't smiling!! I think I would have given into my desire to hibernate if we had that much snow! We actually got off easy with this last snow storm. All around us are worse off then we are.

By the way, when I woke up this morning the radio said it was -20 celcius, and the wind chill was making it feel like -30!! Boy, that just made my bed feel even more comfortable!!

Patty I was just telling Marci that for someone like me...the snow just doesnt seem real. When you've never experienced that well you just cant comprehend it! I loved hearing about Revee & the girls coming to see you. Patty that was so nice of you to give her that sewing machine & the neat gifts for the girls. I really am jealous!! I wish we could all meet at each others homes. I want to warm my feet by your fire!

LOL! That's exactly what I was doing this morning. We had about 20 inches here.
