Some More Good News

Mei-Ling was transferred into the Progressive ICU last night. Melanie and Casi fed her without her being hooked up to any monitors. Miss Mei-Ling drank one and one half bottles tonight. She seems to like what her mommy brings her much better than the formula !
They assured Melanie and Casi tonight that it won't be much longer now until they bring her home.
The Unit had a cute picture of Mei-Ling for Melanie with "Happy Mothers Day 2007" written on the bottom of it.
Mei-Ling has appointments lined up already with a pediatric cardiologist and a pulmonary specialist. What a blessing to have specialist available !
They said tonight they don't think she will be going home with any medications. What a blessing.
Melanie has not been eating all that well but after seeing Mei-Ling tonight and knowing its only a short time until she comes home, Melanie asked if we could stop and get something to eat on the way home. We were all pretty happy about that.
And on a side note, thanks so much to a wonderful reader who sent Melanie a very generous gift. You know who you are and thank you so much.

I am off to have an adventurous day with Emery, my every wish is to be granted in celebration of mothers day. I will be reasonable though !

First plan of action is to visit my favorite cafe. Just got handed a card and a box of French Chocolates. Nice way to begin the weekend
