Market Day

After a trip to the hospital to see Mei-Ling, I did some shopping for the rest of the week. Fresh breads, wines, cheeses and of course some coffee and fruit. I had forgotten how good it felt to be dressed up nice and head off to do some shopping. I found myself making better choices, having better posture and just generally making this more than just a chore. I needed to get myself out of this rushed, too many things to do mood and do some of this kind of market shopping. It helped.
Looks like Mei-Ling will have a small surgery in the next couple weeks. It will be the less invasive procedure that is more of a temporary fix that should keep things under control until she is a bit older. We are hoping she will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow, which will give her some time at home before the operation. A little bit of normalcy will be nice for this tiny one. She was all grins and giggles this morning. So cute. Casi's mom spent the night at the hospital, (Melanie is so blessed to have a good mother in law) so Melanie and Casi could go home and have a good nights sleep. Its exhausting for them along with stressful to have their wee one go through so much.
Time for me to get back to work, oh...if you noticed, you got a sneak peek at the kitchen in the picture : )

I loved the wallpaper. Can't wait to see the whole picture of your kitchen. I pray that things go well with the little one. It hurts us so bad when we see our little loved ones hurting too. I know that God has something very important for the life of this little one. Just look at the things she has already gone through. She will be a walking testomony of God and miracles one day. Hope you and yours have a blessed day.

I think of you and your remarkable family every single day! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, but even more so with little Mei-Ling. Your focus on creating a life of loving abundance and well-being for your family can only multiply the many blessings you recieve. You have a beautiful, heart, Patty and you share it openly with all of us. Thank you and bless you for that!

I've only read a few of your posts but I really have gained a lot from what you have to say. I have 2 kids with kidney reflux and right now am having hard feelings about what my youngest is going through.

Thank you for sharing your story. I will most definitely be reading more posts and I will keep Mei-Ling in my thoughts.
