Sunrise and Tuk Tuk Hanging Around
The morning broke cool and clear. Such a relief after a long hot summer. Seems like you really value the cool weather after months of dry heat.
I went outside to take a picture of the sun coming up against the silhouette of trees and there on the door was my little fella Tuk Tuk, letting me know it's his breakfast time. He just looked so cute.
Its going to be a great day, I can tell already.
Life blessings all around me. So many things to be grateful for, including the simplest ones.

I don't think I already left a message on your blog, up to now. However, I wish to tell you that you're a real inspiration to me. It is a daily appointment for me and it helps me meditate on simplifying my life... I 'm fascinated with the Amish / mennonite way of living. Your recipes are so atttractive(though some of the ingredients are unknow to us, here in Belgium), the poems you propose are always so appropriate...
And please, Patty, don't worry about bad comments, let them fly away, lost into the cyberspace !
Spending some time on your blog makes me feel better, simply because you're a GOOD person, and I just wished to thank you for that !

LittleJennyWren, we have to replace screen every couple of years. This last time we put up a heavy metal mess screen which seems a bit harder for them to tear up. With 4 cats, there is always one of them thinking its meal time again ! THey are all outside cats, supposed to be barn cats and hunt, but no, they are lazy and want their food in a dish
