Orange

I was up this morning some where around 4:30. The house was dark and silent. But in the living room we have a fish aquarium and its light is just right to sit by and spin. Certainly not a bright light, but I can spin with my eyes closed so there isn't a need for a bright light anyway.
I sat spinning until about 5:30. Its such a restful almost meditative activity. The spool filling up with bright orange yarn, spun fine for sock yarn. Its a satisfying feeling to make yarn in such an old fashioned way. It will be a gift. A blessing for me to share.
Its at times like this morning that I feel 100% sure I have the perfect life for me.

You are truly blessed Patty. I'm not sure that I'm where I want to be, but I'm confident that I'm doing what God wants me to be doing.

I've never tried spinning because it looks too hard to do. I can imagine it would be a very relaxing hobby.

Dear Patty, your blog is a real inspiration for me. I read it every morning, opening it as a Christmas present. Lots of lovely photos and, most of all, lots of things to meditate about. Thanks for sharing your life. Paola

dear patty,
I am always wondering how you can possibly manage to do all the things you are doing - now I know - you are hardly sleeping - getting at 4.30 in the morning! when I am sometimes up at that time of the night with one of my ill children (they must be ill not to sleep at that time) I feel as if I would be the only person in the whole world not sleeping... now I know, there are more people up... :o)
Beautifull yarn! Many blessings...

I wish I could get started early in the morning hopefully as my strength builds as it is doing each day I will be able to accomplish an early morning run, time to talk with Heavenly Father and to write in my blog each day...Hugs Tina
