Here we are now
Somehow I am always the one behind the camera so its not easy to get a photo of me and Emery together. But here is one I took of me this morning as I was going out shopping and the one of Emery was taken last year, but he looks the exact same.
I am all happy today, have lost 6 1/2 lbs since starting my diet on Sunday. 1,000 calories for the first week, then up to 1,400-1,600. Its not been hard so far and the reward is sweet.

I think Emery looks pretty good for 62, I always have to tease him about his age, since he is 8 years older than me.

It's always nice to see who we're talking to, isn't it?
6-1/2 since Sunday? Wow! I thought maybe you had lost your appetite while sick. That is a great start!
Anyway, you're looking great. Yes, your husband does look very good for his age too. Can't believe that he is 62.
YOu all have a great day and stay cozy.:)

Nice to see you!!
Well done for weight loss - its worth it - but what a hard time of year to start a diet - from one who has just popped some Chocolate chip cookies dd made.
And I am sitting with shorts & Tee shorts on - all doors & windows open as summer here in New Zealand - feels soo odd to rad your blog of warming up goats water, I must try that for the winter - but we don't have such cold winters as you do - just freezing cold winds.

Hope you are well and enjoying a great day! Congrats on the diet, although a 1,000 calories doesn't seem like much. I hope it continues to make you feel better however. Many blessings to you and yours!
Your packages are beautiful. I have all the out of town gifts mailed off now and still have many local ones to wrap..but have had a couple wrapping sessions with the kids...to wrap THEIR gifts to each other. It is fun to see their sweet homemade gifts. I love that they are all creative in some way.
have a great week!!
How wonderful to see your picture. You have such a friendly sweet peaceful face. Love the haircut!
