30 Years Ago


Thought you might enjoy going back in time with me. 1978 seems like a lifetime ago in some ways, but in other ways it seems like it was just yesterday. Life is so good !
Emery and I both had mustangs when we met. Same year too, only his was a Mach 1 and mine was just a plain old mustang. I joke that I had the girls version and he had the boy version. In the top picture, Emery is holding the very first Christmas stocking he had in his whole entire life.

love it. 1978 my first daughter was born in June of that year. and now she is the mother of 3 daughters and one son.

in 1978, I was in my first year of high school. My first car was a 71 mustang!

Happy anniversary! 1978 was a very good year --- especially the month of December. Our 30th is coming up a few days after Christmas. It's easy for me to relate to your post today --- even to the Mach 1. ;)
