Did We Just Skip Spring Altogether ?

When the temperature reaches 90 degrees, somehow men folk like a cool drink in the shade when they are out working. My husband likes to drink Limeade when my Meadow tea is not available( too early for the mint to be up yet).
His hat and gloves laid aside for a bit while an ice cold glass of limeade is taken. The wind blowing his hair and cooling off his head as it sits in the shade.
A hay bale beside the barn works as a nice little table for such a treat.
Its so early to be so warm but just maybe tomorrow will be spring again.

It sure is nice to be able to stop for a minute and rest in the shade with the person you love.

Patty: We broke a record here today. Our high was 74 but there's snow predicted for Sunday.

I have those exact same gardening gloves here in Australia!! That jug of limeade looks so refreshing and the whole photograph tells a story - great job :-)

Ah, yes. We've had those temps too for the past several days. And wouldn't you know the fan on our air conditioner went out last night!

Patty: Could you post your recipe for the "Meadow Tea"? I always have mint growing in my planters and would like to give it a try this summer.
