A Bit More Wind and light rain

It's now about noon time and we are having stronger gusts of wind, but not anything to worry about. The trees and bending and swaying and the rain is light but steady. It's a nice sort of rain at this point. The kind you wouldn't mind going for a walk in.
Watching the news and seeing all the damage done along the coast, it just breaks your heart to see so much destruction.

Emery and I were just about to make reservations to go to Galveston next week for a little vacation to celebrate that its been 30 years since we had our first date. We were planning to stay right on the waters edge, just as we were about to hit the key to reserve a room, I commented about it being a bad hurricane year and maybe we should do something else to celebrate. Kinda glad we made that choice.

Haven't heard how Melissa's in laws made out, they are in the Houston area and I am praying they didn't have any damage.

Time to get cozy and watch a good movie....this dreary day is perfect for it.
