Baking Day


Yesterday was baking day. Emery was working yesterday and my dad was busy reading, and I was catching up
with my cleaning and baking.

I love the smell of homemade bread too. The leaves on the pie is so cool. I've gotta make one of those.
I just so happen to have plenty of apples from my neighbor just begging to be baked into something yummy. :)

Your baking exploits remind me of my nana and her baking. She could make the best pastry - mine isn't anywhere close! I love home made apple pie - my nana puts in some cloves and lemon rind - yummy! The pastry leaves on your pie are great :-)
