Gratitude Time

Tonight is time for a new list of gratitude's, not because of any old list being outdated, but because there have been many more to add to existing lists.
Being grateful helps us stay focused on what is good and right about life, even in the midst of hardships and difficulties.
In no particular order....
Faith, and hope
The tender love of a child
My wonderfully loving husband and our children
babies, tiny pure minded humans with no agenda
Fun board games at the kitchen table
godly friends
herbs that heal, my cold is nearly gone after just a couple days
A birthday to celebrate this month
Good books, that encourage
warm socks on cold mornings
a nest full of brown and green eggs
the smell of hay in the barn
The way wool feels as it slides through my fingers as I spin
I am grateful for silence and for sound
Sunrises and sunsets
The way my husband holds my hand in his
That my children love me and like me
That my husband is looked upon as a godly man by those who know him
That we got a new load of wood today
For our friends recovery from Cancer
For memories
I am ever so grateful for parents that loved me
For aunts, uncles and cousins that were like an extension of our immediate family
Oh I think its best to stop here, the list could go on and on.
One more thing, I am thankful for red, I love the color red. Sounds silly but I really love red : )

Hi Patty, we do have much to be grateful for. I keep a daily graitude journal. I list 5 things I am thankful for each day. I am so much more aware of all my blessings and try to remember to take nothing for granted. Each day is a gift with so many treasures. Warm wishes for a happy day. Linda

I love your list...great items. I started a gratitude journal recently too, and I have noticed that I am thankful for the most simple things! I love that. And I don't think being thankful for the color red is silly at all. The color green makes me happy and made my journal entry one day.
Have a great week!!

The feeling of thankfulness has a power to it that will feed your soul for a long time. Ungrateful souls miss out. Your list is wonderful.
