Pictures of my day
From hauling wood from the wood house to the house by way of an old tossed out to the trash wheelchair, locking up chickens for the night, feeding the critters and catching sight of a single old English rose in my rose garden, the evening was one of simple pleasure.
My day was one of preparation for our Christmas party this weekend....cooking, cleaning, doing some errands and moments of putting my feet up for a few minutes to sip a cup of coffee.
As I walked around a store today I remembered something I wrote last year...
Christmas has become a consumer holiday, often times forgetting what the man stood for, whose birthday we celebrate on this day. A man of peace and compassion. It would be a wonderful gift from us to give what he taught us to give. Love, unconditional love.

So true wouldn't It be Grand if we could have a world of Love and Peace on Earth?

Warm cocoa thoughts to you!
Being a redneck myself, I thought it was extremely clever!
(Gee, I hope that term in Texas is not different from here in KY! We think of rednecks as extremely inventive although "financially- challenged" citizens who resist the temptation to care what modern society thinks of them.) LOL!
