My Thoughts This Morning

This little quote says exactly how my heart feels regarding this blog. I just need more courage to keep it going.

" Whatever you do, you need courage. Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising that tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a soldier needs. Peace has its victories, but it takes brave men and women to win them." (attributed, probably erroneously, to Emerson; original source is unknown)

What do you mean more courage to keep it going??? You were born to do this!! You touch countless lives everyday. PLEASE do not let a few unhappy people make you feel like you need extra courage to do what you were called to do!!! Your enemy is not strong...YOU are strong.

Your blog is the first thing I check when I turn my computer on in the morning - often it sets the tone for my whole day. Bren is right - you were born to do this. You have a gift of expressing yourself and it makes me feel so good to know there are others out there who feel the same way I do about living simply.

Kim, you missed what I was saying, I was writing about the comments I get by email or the very ugly ones that are hateful that I don't leave on here. I even mentioned but you must have missed that, that I enjoy a good spirited conversation. I just simply don't like nastiness and hatefulness. And why on earth would someone read my blog that differs on every single aspect of what I write about ? That was what I wrote about
