Afternoon Tea

The housework is caught up, time for a bit of me time. Handel playing on the CD player. A light breeze stirring the curtains. Roses fill the room with a heavenly fragrance. Perfect setting for Afternoon Tea.
A bit of leisure in the day is good for the soul. Pretty dishes, sipping my favorite tea, and nothing but delightful music and the comforts of home surrounding me. Just a note, I even put on a lovely pink dress for my afternoon of self indulgence.

I love teapots! Which is funny because I don't drink tea LOL. Well, I sometimes have some herbal tea. Your teapot and teacup are so gorgeous! It all looks very lovely :-)
Oh, Patty, can I come over?
Over here, we have afternoon teas with the kids, so it's pretty different from your picture. (The music would be similar, though.)

I LOVE your tea set. And, you know, pink roses are my "thang". I have a cute tea set hand carried from China town in SF on one of DH's university trips there. He had to hand carry it because it wouldn't fit in his carry on, so, he had to carry it on his lap the whole flight. Maybe one of these days I can post a picture of it.
