A Little Glimpse of Our Fun



Just an impromptu meal.... the best kind. Everyone stopped by for a visit and we just filled the table with food and since it was a good Italian meal, there was also wine, water and Sicilian lemonade.
Mei-Ling entertained us with her singing to which we accompanied her with much good natured laughter. We listened to music, had great conversation and just lots of fun.
Ravioli with home made sauce, glad for all those tomatoes !

We were all a bit tired after spending much of the morning in the pool. We had true Texas BBQ for lunch at Buffalo Creek BBQ, it was fantastic as always. Brisket that melts in your mouth !

It looks wonderful! This is like the family gatherings we had in Kentucky, my happiest childhood memories. Everyone would gather at my grandmother's for dinner. She was a wonderful cook and a gracious hostess and her table was the place to be. It looks like your table is so for your family. Enjoy your visit!

Had to laugh about the brisket... the other day I had to go by the tire repair shop as my car was indicating I had an issue (I did it was a nail); and a couple fella's drove up wanting to know where to get some beef BBQ - I told them to drive west until they hit Texas as all they would find in SC is yellow-mustard base PORK or chicken BBQ. Or if they were lucky a vinegar based pork BBQ. They laughed as they were from Texas and here attending a conference.
