Maybe some rain ?


There are storms in the area and we are all hoping and praying for some cooling rain...however, we would like to skip any hail and high winds !

It rained for a little bit this morning here in GP Texas but that was short lived.
We had some thunder tonight but no rain.
I heard on the radio the other day that August is supposedly the hottest month in Texas. I was like "really...it can get hotter than 102-105 degrees?" Good Heavens...lol.

We had the most lovely rain this morning and cool enough temps to open windows and run the attic fan. It was wonderful!

I wish it would rain. My thermometer was reading as high as yours the other day. I was shocked. Even though mine is in the shade, I think it is getting some radiant heat off the brick wall it hangs on. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! :)
