The Birthday Girl

24 years ago today, Melanie arrived by way of the baby stork and about an hour of labor. What a blessing she has been to our family as our all three of our children.
Today we celebrated her birthday by having a few of her friends over for cake and ice cream along with the family.
Lots of good fun and plenty of laughs as Melanie and Steven told childhood stories about each other. We sure missed having Melissa and James here with us. Always feels a bit like a major piece is missing when we are not all together.
Tomorrow I will share some new computer pictures. Feels like I should make a scrap book just of the computers we have had through time. Actually I think we still have most of them in the closet ! "Might just need them for parts at some point", is the comment I hear when I suggest sending them off to the land of old computers.
