Baby News !

Melanie got the date for her c-section today....Yen will be born on January 7th ! We are so proud of her for doing so well and being able to carry him that long. Her last A1C was 6.8 or something along those lines and that was with being sick for part of that time.
I should have all my knitting for the baby done by that time and maybe even have his quilt finished.

That's my little boy's b-day, but he'll be two.

Just a curiosity thing, maybe you've posted about it before, but are the children's names Chinese? And is there a story behind that? I've been reading the past year and a half or two years and don't remember seeing it.

Hi Cat,
my son in law is Thai, with his father being of Chinese heritage

That's good news!!!

I've finally figured out how to comment, so as a reader of a year or more I can finally say how much I enjoy your posts and say "thanks" for how helpful they are to my own sense of family.

I would have liked January 3 since that's my birthday but it being a Sunday, I guess the 7th will work better :) I am thankful that this pregnancy has been better for Melanie and can't wait to see photos of little Yen. What a way to start a new year! Lisa in NM
