Tropical Storm Edouard

We were all hoping that some rain would fall in our area from tropical storm Eduardo. Just not sure it will reach this far north. I was so happy to hear that the storm was not a bad one and on our news they said there was no major damage from this storm. There are flood warnings in much of the coast line and into Houston, but in Texas, that is not an uncommon event.

I hear it now in the voices of the people I talk to in Texas. Their voices sound weary. I can tell the heart is wearing them down. Our Houston folks, as expected are fine, just some rain, which they welcomed.

YES!!! I would certainly love some rain or wind or maybe just maybe a temperature in the 70's just for a day.

It's been 111 degrees or higher in our area and it's just miserable.

I should try and see how long it takes an egg to fry on the sidewalk tomorrow...lol.

The only good thing about the heat is my clothes dry outside is less than 30 minutes. ;-)

Off to bed I go!
