What I've been Working On


Thought I would share a picture of what I have been working on in the past week or so.
I have been embroidering quilt blocks with the mother and daughter sunbonnet designs and incorporating them in with some homespun looking fabric. I am rather pleased with how its coming out. Only 5 more blocks to embroider !

Oh PATTY!!! Those are BEAUTIFUL!! I love everything about them. Please show a pic when you have the others done and it all put together. I have the things to do something like this only using blue...you've inspired me to get some things done so I can get to them now!

Usually I get all the squares done before I piece any of them but this time I was impatient and wanted to see what one row would look like put together. I have NO idea what sort of quilting I will do with this.
Glad you like it, I think this one may be a quilt I keep for myself, a rare thing indeed.

Hi La tea dah,
I think I will keep this one for myself. It took me quite a while to decide on the colors etc. My living room is accented with blue, deep red and dark greens. So it will fit in well. The walls are cream color so I have the flexibility to change things with my moods
