Aprons, Dresses and Quilts

These shelves hold the fabric for future dresses, aprons, pillow cases and of course quilts. When I walk into the room where these shelves are, I stand looking at the colors and wonder what each piece will become. Some are pieces left over from summer curtains for the living room and some pieces were bought with no purpose in mind at all.

When I iron each day, I face all these fabrics and imagine in my mind what the possibilities are.

OH my! That's in your home! How wonderful! How organized! What a beautiful array of colors!

It's a wonder you get anything done with all the potential sewing sitting there tempting you! ;-)

It looks so beautiful and at first I thought it was your Country Store..*S* So nice to have what you will need right there to choose from. I've found at at my age(65) what I want to work with is quite predictable...so I do understand..*S* It's just part of being in charge of your own life.
I love the feeling that touching fabric gives me..the feeling of so many possibilities....that will become future memories. I love the way you've arranged it so you can enjoy looking at it. :c)

There's nothing more relaxing than watching colours organized. I can do that for hours. I wish I had a stash room like yours, not because of the amount of fabric but because of how it calms my spirit.
