I Needed all this, Really, I did



I was good today and didn't buy everything I wanted, just what I needed to make a quilt for my sister for Christmas. Well, the darker fabrics on top are for me, but the rest I needed, really. Since I didn't spend all the money I had, I drove on down the road to Hobby Lobby and found some other fabric. I needed that too !

Oh yes, you did need the fabric! ;) Now somebody needs to figure out how to explain the logic to our husbands. "Yes honey, I need all this fabric. No, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with ALL of it. But I have ideas!!" :)

Great colors! Do I see some stripes in there? I love working with stripes.

Oh, pink and green are my favourite colours! They are the colours that remind me of my childhood, walking up the hill to my nana's house. The street was lined on both sides by cherry trees, and for a few days each year there was an explosion of beautiful pink blossoms. It's a sight I'll never forget.
