A Day For Letter Writing

Rain continues to fall steadily. No thunder or lightening, just an easy rain. The dampness combined with gray skies makes it a perfect day to sit at my desk writing a few letters that are well over due. Letter writing is something I enjoy but always fall behind on. I love getting mail but lack some discipline at this stage of life in getting letters answered promptly. Need to work on that.
Today is the day to catch up.

Sounds like a similar day to mine, I've been writing letters and e-mails and pottering about doing this and that. I've been thankful that Neil and Cesca were married last year and not this - their wedding day was beautiful, hot and sunny, this year it would have been grey and wet and a disaster as the whole thing took place in our garden!
