Roof Going Up

This morning the roof of the porch is going up and its really starting to look like what we purchased. Its going to be a hot day here, expected temperature of 102 F. I am thinking that at the rate they are getting the work done, we may have our back porch built by the end of the week !
We are going to enjoy this porch so much and I can just imagine the little ones playing out there having fun while the adults are sipping lemonade and chatting.

I love porches! You are going to have so much time gathering together here in good weather, Patti. And isn't it incredibly exciting to see a plan turn into a reality!

I wonder if you could make your spam filter a little easier, btw. I don't really know how blogger works, but maybe it could be simpler for people who comment often.

Oh Patty, I am so happy for ya'll getting a nice big porch.Ya'll will Love it. We lOve ours! We sip tea and cof. watch the birds come in and eat! Soooo Relaxing!

I have always thought a porch is a wonderful addition to a house--neither quite outdoors or in. Our porches usually have a clothesline. Maybe not esthetically pleasing, but handy.
