Little Miss Mei-Ling's First Trip to The Hairdressers
Grammie had her hair cut today and so seemed the perfect time for Mei-Ling to have her bangs trimmed after watching Grammie sit in the big chair and have scissors hard at work on my hair.
Mei-Ling sat in the chair, apron on and then reached out to hold the hands of the hairdresser, in that "I need some reassurance" sort of way. Melanie stood right beside her the entire time, but I think Mei-Ling saw this as a big girl experience and never needed mommy.
Of course, Grammie had her camera with her so the moment is captured forever. No doubt this will be a new page in the beautiful scrap book Melanie keeps for Mei-Ling.
After the hair cutting, we went for our morning walk, but the wind was too strong for Mei-Ling to play in the park afterwards.
