I hope Harry doesn't have heart worms!
I notice he's back in the house...his new perfume must have worn off! My mom's dog was sprayed in October. Poor guy, he was heartbroken at spending a night outside! The irony is he was a country dog that didn't meet a skunk until he moved to town!

Kennel cough is pretty common..hopefully that is all it is..I have adopted dogs that had kennel cough and was able to clear it up pretty quickly.
IF the dog is already old and had other problems the treatment is extremely hard on them and can kill them. IF it is heartworms and IF you decide not to treat it a baby aspirin (81 mlg) helps them as it thins the blood- but not everyday once or twice a week;
Also if your doggie has joint issues this same aspirin can help with that.
DO NOT EVER give a human aspirin to a Kitty.
Yes, he is seeing a vet and we will be having him tested for heartworms when he is feeling a bit more fit
