A Dress for Spring and an Apron too


I was so happy to find this pretty pink portrait dress for Mei-Ling, it is like new and how could I pass up on this darling vintage Swiss organdy apron for the little girls to wear when they come to help Grammie bake ! I love Goodwill's bargains !

What a beautiful dress! I absolutely love to thrift shop. Yesterday I found several spring outfits at a consignment store for the girls. We are having spring weather in our part of Texas - we needed some spring clothes! Be sure and post a picture of precious MeiLing in her new dress.

I wonder if the apron is a "pinafore" that little girls used to wear over their dresses. I haven't seen one in decades. I love the old fashioned dresses, etc. on little girls. I detest the popular, sexy look for little girls, and the clothes that advertise a character, like Hannah Montana. Little girls should be little girls, not miniature women.
