Kids Arrived

The first kids of the season have arrived for us. A boy and a girl. Born while I was out food shopping ! And yes, storms were all around us, thunder rumbling and rain drops falling. It seems to be when our goats like to kid. Now to find the perfect names for them : )
They are half Nubian and half Alpine, so those ears are a bit like airplane wings !
Licorice and the babies
the buck kid
the doe kid
and the buck kid again.

Is the mother goat the one that was attacked by the cougar? So glad she survived to have these beautiful babies.
