Easter Morning
We never have done big Easter Meals. It's not been our custom. Easter to me is more of a time to reflect on the goal of living the instructions, the words of Jesus, more than anything else. What better way to honor the sacrifice of his life than to live according to his words.
To live humbly, to love one another, to put others first and to value people more than things. Its what I strive for and miserably fail at sometimes. But it is my goal always.
Melanie brought the children over for a visit in the morning and what fun we had. We hid some eggs for her to find. There were enough for about 10 grandchildren though.
Yen, watched from Melanie's lap, next year he will join in the fun.
We so appreciate how often we get to see these dear ones.
