Quilt blocks for Mei-Ling


Just before I started stitching some of the blocks together I took a few pictures so you could see them. Just beautiful ! I can feel the love that went into them. Even Emery wrote on a block for his wee grand-blessing. Thank you all for making this such a special quilt for Mei-Ling. It will comfort her and bless her now and in the years to come. All the blocks in the picture are sewn together as I write this post. Progress : )

It is an honor to have blocks in Mei Ling's quilt. We all have a special place in our heart for her. When you spend time on your knees for a sweet child, you tend to get "attached"!

I see my humble square reached you too. It is from fabric that was used in our bedroom on windows and bed, when our own babies were first born. I have pictures of each newborn, resting on the pillows of lilac sprays and leaves, so the fabric has a connection to babies born and loved so far away - love from our little corner to Mei-Ling.
