Another Update on Mei-Ling

Melanie and Casi took Mei-Ling to the Doctors today to see if her Vesicostomy is infected.
It is. Another round of strong antibiotics for her. She has lost almost 2 lbs since her operation, due to the surgery, the infections and now on top of all that she has a nasty cold which has taken her appetite away. Keep this little one in your prayers. She has been enjoying her quilt so much. Snuggling up with it on the sofa when she isn't feeling so great.
When my camera gets back, I will take better pictures of the quilt so you can all see it finished.
Mei-Ling has an appointment with the neurosurgeon tomorrow to discuss what is going on with her nerves around her tail bone.
Please continue to keep Mei-Ling in her prayers and good thoughts.

Thank you for sharing your quiet life. I pray for Mei-Ling. I missed the mention of what happened to your camera? I am shopping for a new camera and think alot about portability vs picture quality. Any thoughts.

You all might ask about Ensure supplimental drinks. A friend's lil girl went on these per her dr. They seemed to stimulate her appetite. She drank one over the course of a day. Just a lil something extra.
May the Lord heal your grandbaby-girl (((hugs)))

She looks so sweet snuggled up under her love-quilt!

I've been following your blog for a while, because like you, I have been on a more spiritual path (I hope). So, even though I am a total stranger posting from the UK, I want to offer my prayers and good thoughts to Mei-Ling. She is a lovely little spirit, and so much suffering for one so young! Sending good thoughts her way.

My best,

Anna Marie

Hi Don,
My camera is a sony DSH-H2 cybershot. Lots of function but portable. It fits in my purse. Its easy to take on hikes, no huge camera bag, takes good pictures. Mine just started acting up a bit after 2 years of maximum use. We have a 4 year warrenty on it though. They say the life of a digital camera is not used up in years but in how many pictures you take. I take about 1,000 pictures a month or more, so I am pleased with having gone 2 years without any problem. There is something wrong with the on off switch/battery function. Hoepfully I will have it back this next week. The Cannon Rebel is a fantastic camera if you are looking for something that you can really mess around with setting wise. It has great ratings too. But is a bit more pricey than my Sony.
I just love that photo of Mei-Ling. She is such a beautiful child! We will continue to pray that her infection will clear up.
Have a wonderful day,

There is nothing sweeter than seeing a loved one snuggled under a quilt of love that you have made for them. What a precious picture and precious little girl.
