Many Days of Wedding Clothes

With Melanie's wedding there will be several occasions where we will need to look snazzy.
We purchased a nice beaded Salwar Kameez for Melanie to wear at her shower and I found a nice lavender outfit for the rehearsal dinner which will later be a mehndi party where she will have the henna applied to her hands. We also ordered her a nice beaded sari for the reception after the wedding.
Poor Emery can get away with just one new outfit while the rest of us shop for new clothes, shoes and of course matching jewelry. So where is that simple living attitude of mine ??? Put away for now until after the wedding. This is a special time for Melanie and Casimir and we want them to have it as perfect as it can be.
We are still staying well within our budget, thanks to some careful shopping .

Gorgeous! Now what type of store would a person find such lovely garments? I would love to find some of these premade but don't have a clue where to start!

Really, I can't wait for wedding pics...you do such an awesome job capturing the beauty in everything!

Grace & Peace

Hi Pam,
You can shop ebay for salwar kameez and find them, or go to some Indian store, but they will be a bit costy that way.

My sister and best friend both got new outfits from India on ebay.
That is where the lavender one of mine came from.

Beautiful!

Patty -- a question for you. Maybe a blog topic.

Is Melanie's husband-to-be a Christian? And if not, has that been an adjustment for you?

yes, Casimir is Christian, his name is after a polish saint !
