Just Sewing, Not Planning


No plans, just cutting and sewing as I go. This is a totally foreign concept for me but its fun. Have some small pieced blocks to add next and from there, who knows ! My husband just said, "Wow". He asked if it was something to take to the beach....

That does look like the beach! It also makes me think of the fun plastic dishes that were in the stores a few years ago - lots of bright citrus and sherbert colors. Looks like you are having so much fun. Stitching this way without a plan is very freeing, isn't it!

Love your play time Patty...it's good!! Very summery, beachy, happy-go-lucky type of quilt..*VBS*

And yes, it's very freeing...letting the child come out to play. Not taking the whole things too seriously..*G* Love of color and maybe form, but maybe not.

Congratulations on your sewing-without-planning project. It's a bright and cheery project and I hope you'll be satisfied with it. Just keep on working. I do not always enjoy my result when I'm doing this technique, but this was a fun outcome.
