Cinnamon Loaf Cake

It's a chilly day here in our neck of the woods. The wood stove is keeping the house toasty warm and it just feels like a good day to bake. My little baking partner is still resting her sprained ankle so it will be me alone in the kitchen today. Miss Mei will not be up to visiting her Grammie for a few more days.
When my girls were young, they loved making this recipe for Cinnamon Loaf Cake, its a pretty easy recipe and great for young bakers. An old time Mennonite recipe. It is wonderful tasting and is even good for breakfast.
Emery will be welcomed home this evening by the wonderful smell of a freshly baked cake.
Here is the link for the recipe

Looks delicious! I love it when the house has a good baking smell...BTW, cinnamon is a good blood sugar regulator, so not all that unhealthy.
