Meet Pepper

We found a wonderful puppy, she is just the mix we were wanting and is sweet as can be.
She is just about 10 weeks old.
Pepper and the goats get along just fine. The cats are not being very welcoming, the first meeting resulted in a bark and a hiss. The chickens just seem to eye this new comer with great suspicion. I suspect friendship between puppy and chickens might take a little time to form.

Pepper is adorable! I think she will be a very good dog for you! Maybe this means less roughing it in the car for you two! LOL!

Oh, she looks like our "Jasper". Black lab, with white chest. Our dog was a Texas stray, in bad shape when my daughter rescued him. He is big and healthy, and a wonderful, smart and loving dog now.
I'm sure Pepper will be a great addition to the family.

Your puppy is precious. I love the name (same as my favorite lamby.)

Cute!!!

Do you know how the animal shelters are there in the Dallas area? I mean, is it easy to adopt a cat or dog or do they make you go through a bunch of red tape and paperwork?
I am asking because we want to get a kitty cat once we get settled. Well I'd like to get 5 or 6, but the hubby says 1 for now :-)
