My Morning in Photos

Nothing like a drink of fresh mud, that is if you are a duck !
The young hens were raised with the ducks and seem to have adopted the ducks love of mud.
Two of our young oak trees have died over this summer, with the extreme heat and drought.
A cicada case hanging on the side of Emery's workshop.
Maddox guarding his bone.
It's a good morning, breakfast of blueberry pancakes with a little visitor at the breakfast table with us.  Our grand-daughter is here for the weekend with us.   Laundry on the line, dusting done, linens in the washing machine.  Floors washed.  Cupcakes in the oven to be frosted and decorated by little hands this afternoon.   Perhaps there will even be some time to sew a little apron for this tiny cook before she gets home from pre-K.
So many blessings, so much to be thankful for.

Your lovely ducks have me reminiscing about the ducks I used to have when I lived in Vermont. Loved that happy slurpy sound they made when they found a puddle. Thanks for the great picture!
