Record Snow Fall

We have snow in North Texas, just not this much ! They are saying we have another 12 hours of this snow which means several more inches for us. A couple hours ago I measured 5 inches. Its so beautiful I walked across the road to the big field and took some photos of the prairie land. It was a holy experience. The silence that comes with snow, just made the whole world around me feel like a cathedral of purity. It was a time to pray and thank God for such beauty.

The wood stove burns brightly, warming my toes on the hearth, enjoying the view out the window after spending about 3 hours hiking in the snow.
