Pictures from today
Went for a little walk today to our towns duck pond. Perfect day for water birds.
As I walked up to the front porch of our house, there was a huge bumblebee on an echinacea bloom. Had to take one more picture before heading indoors.

My husband plans to get on the DART to go to the Convention Center downtown. Is this the kind of neighborhood he could safely walk in, or should we plan to drive him to the DART stop?

When I lived in Dallas, I was amazed at how big they grew there! My great-grandmother taught me about them and told me that if the winter gets so cold they get killed from frost, give them a little time and they'll sprout new growth from the roots.
