Wool Washing

Washing wool is always a big job. Today I did a black fleece and a lovely natural white one. They are all clean now and drying on screens hung over two clothes lines. Next job will be combing them and picking out all the plant fibers still stuck to them.
But its all worth the wool. By fall time I will be spinning the wool into yarn to be used for warm winter items. Now of course, my bathtub will need a good scrubbing and a long bleaching !
