Shopping Day

Did a bit of food shopping today. Recently we got off our organic vegetarian diet and both Emery and I began to feel it. More sluggish, less energy and just felt old !
So back to eating healthy 100% of the time. Today's shopping looked so pretty on the table before it was all put away, I snapped a picture and here it is.
Melons of all kinds are ripe from the local fields now and just about every mile there is a truck farmer selling some. Our food store carries organic locally grown produce in season. The melons are $4 for a big watermelon and $1 for a cantaloupe. Not too bad and its so refreshing to have fruit on a hot summers day.
