FIRES

North Texas is having wild fires all over the place. We are nearly 16 inches below in rainfall, have temperatures in the 80's, high winds and very low humidity. Not good combinations at all.
This is what I am seeing out my front door.

I sure am enjoying all my new blogger friends by the way ! What a nice group of people you all are.
Blogging is so much fun.

Patty: Those fires look a little close for comfort. I haven't had the news on at all today and was hoping the fires were extinguished but I guess that didn't happen. I pray your family is all out of harm's way with those fires.

We have a chance of severe weather tonight. I think it's just wind and hail but we have our tornado plan in place (shoes by the bed, flashlight under the pillow, towels in the bathtub).

Severe weather makes me forget that I am not supposed to worry! :)

hi Judy,
We have fires all around us, but the ones near us have been on the small size. All day long we have heard and seen fire engines go past our house.
Bad storms always make me forget about how I should not worry. Our part of Texas is in tornado alley.
Be safe and I will keep you in our prayers.

My thoughts and prayers too Patty, I thought of you right away when I heard Texas had wild fires. And tornadoes today through the midwest to the mid Atlantic states. My God hold you and yours in the palm of his hand...Hugs, Finn

The fires seem to have subsided in our area and today the sky is bright blue. We still have winds and warm temps but we are in the clear today.
