A Big Brave Dog : )

Harry is not exactly a fan of thunder and lightning. He doesn't fuss, but just looks for what he considers safe places to hide. If I am in the kitchen, he tries to get under the table.
When I was in the computer room, he took off to my bedroom closet, which happened to have the pillows off the bed on the floor. Storms were coming fast this morning so I didn't have time to put all the "pretty" pillows back on the bed, and it seems Harry was happy about that.

My daughter, who also lives in Texas, took in a wonderful stray who is also very much afraid of thunder. I wonder if it is because they were living outdoors with little protection during storms. A nice warm place to hide is very welcome to the Harry's of the world.

Our dog Speckles who was half border collie and half blue heeler and rasied from a tiny puppy with us, was petrified of storms. Makes Harry seem very laid back by comparrison.

I am with Harry! I hate thunder and lightning and look for a safe place when I am here alone with a storm. Winona

Bless his heart! Our doxie, Mandy, used to jumo into the bath tub during thunderstorms. No easy deat for a short legged doxie! I guess she heard that the tub was safe in a tornado! *smile*

Harry is so lovely...and I love his name as well.

OH, poor Harry!! I used to have (proabably 25 years ago now) a black lab named Spooky (the kids named him) who was terrified of thunder and lightning and even worse about fireworks. Poor guy. Not much of a hunting dog!! He was a wonderful family pet...good thing that is what he was intended for. Looks like Harry knows where to look for a comfortable spot.
I loved seeing your rain. Better than our 4" of snow this week. UGH! Your garden is lovely. Mine won't be started for another month. Just indoors in little pots..haha.
