Wildflower Day

Emery took me on a drive to see the wildflowers. The first stop was about 1/2 mile from my front door where the blue bonnets are exceptional this year. Later we drove around the nearby town snapping pictures. There is no doubt in my mind that God loves bright colors !
The bluebonnets are just down the road from our house, the other wildflowers were never more than 15 minutes from our house.

When describing the creation in Genesis, "and it was good" is a bit of an understatement. Spring is stupendous! You are very blessed to have such beauty so close by.

The wildflowers have always been one of my favorite parts of living in Texas. I am thrilled to be back for them this year! I was disappointed to see how sparse they were out in West Texas where my parents are. They just haven't had enough rain this year. On Friday I discovered a little patch while I was out for my walk and took lots of pictures of them!
