A Visitor On A Rainy Day

This afternoon has been a delight. Lots of rain which has given me plenty of time to do the indoor chores. Some areas of North Texas have seen 4-5 inches already. I just looked out the front window and saw this fella on my front porch. Hoped he would hang around long enough for me to get the camera and he did.
Our driveway looks a bit like a pond so no wonder he made a visit.

Nice little visitor you had!

He's huge! We played with plenty of salamanders, frogs and snakes this weekend camping, but they don't visit our home. Glad you got his photo.

Great froggy picture. He would love my pond. Many of his relatives live there.

Patty,

thanks for your message over at Temporary Reality. I'd be glad to share my new blog with you but would rather pass along the address via email (temporaryreality at hotmail etc - sorry, avoiding computerized email-catchers) - it's not a "by invitation only" blog, but I'm keeping it kind of small and personal at this point.

I've been so busy, getting ready to go to China, that I haven't visited most of the blogs I used to - and surprise, you've made Daily Wanderer "invitation only!"

Anyway, there's no need to post this as a comment on here, it's just the only way I could figure out how to contact you.

Now, that is a well fed froggy!

Hi Miss Patty,

I used to visit your blog as Tammy "The Pink Magnolia".

I would love to email you with something I need to tell ya...

Your blog is an inspiration and I believe I can relate to you on an issue!
Love & Hugs!

I love your little visitor. We have a small pond beside our front porch and have many of those little friends hanging out in there. I love to hear their trill at night.

Blessings

Ewww kill it! :-)
I hate frogs...their sooooo gross.

In Florida they would always gravitate towards this ledge on the front of our door and sometimes they would hop in the house and ewwww...ugh....the cats would have fun trying to kill it though.

God Bless You Patty!
P.S. Check your MySpace, I sent you a friends request. :)

We walked around the pond in our neighborhood last night and saw the frogs jumping left and right into the water.
