Summer Time Fun

Yes, I know its not officially summer yet, but at 95 degrees it sure feels it. This week is going to be hot each and every day according to the weather forecast.
Melanie set up Mei-Lings little pool while I was over there visiting and I got to snap a few pictures. Grammie got kinda wet from all the splashing but what fun I had.
Earlier Melanie and Mei-Ling were here at our house so I got to take pictures then too.
Mei-Ling is just like her mommy was, cries when you take her OUT of the pool.

That baby is just TOOO cute! She is the reason I started reading your blog you know. :) I dont know how I originally came to you but when I saw Mei Lings name...I assumed she must have been born in China. LOL That is just such the norm for me! I read back over a year of your archives trying go figure it out. :) Eventually I found something about her birth. Anyhow, she is just a little doll baby and I enjoy reading your blog and seeing your lovely pix.

Oh my, that first picture is a winner. Good thing she wasn't in my 'cute little kid' contest. Wouldn't have been fair to the other children.

Hi Bamboosprouts,
Mei-Ling is 1/2 Thai and the other half is english/german. Well actually her great grandfather on the thai side is full chinese, so she has some Chinese

oh how fun to see MeiLing doing "big girl stuff" in her new pool! Now that she has turned 1 tiem will fly by before you know it!

Has she started walking yet? My twins are just a littl eyounger than her (they turn 1 on 6/4/08) but Paul Thomas has been walking for a few weeks (1st steps 4/30) and now goes and goes and goes! Olivia on the other hand has no desire to walk by herself yet.

We need to get Nora's pool out of storage b/c you are right summer has arrived in Texas!

Love from my side of the state! ~bonnie

She is such a little cutie pie!
I love watching the little ones play in the pool and there is nothing better to do on a hot day! I wish we would get some of that weather, we have had an unseasonably cold and wet spring, it has rained almost everyday.
Have a blessed day!
Annie
