Your Grandmother... Oh how precious. Love that hair and those bows. And, isn't that a tiny smile on her lips?

Remember how vintage photographs never seem to show people with a smile. But... she has one, ready to break forth. It's precious.

I thought about that statement a good deal last night. Sadly, I think too often our self-esteem takes to heart the 1 bad thing someone says and ignores the 100 good things. It is work (and worthwhile work) to turn it around.
