Lockwood "Creek" On the Rise

We have had torrential rains all day long. Our rain gauge is down since we have changed out some fence posts but we have heard from others in our area that we have had about 6 inches of rain today. We have this little drainage ditch from the corner of the milk house that goes winding off to the south side of our land and today it looked like a tiny creek.
Since it was such a dreary rainy day, I decided to do some baking. Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread, made enough to share with some neighbors down the road that I just happen to think are pretty special, Melanie and Casi. Mei-Ling just has to wait for a few months before she can eat such treats.

Supper tonight was Swedish Meatballs over noodles. Simple but yummy.
