Elisabeth Null - Simple Gifts

this afternoon as I was picking broccoli in the garden, checking on the progress of the cabbage, collards, carrots and green beans, I was reminded of the joy these simple gifts bring to me. And later, as I gathered eggs, thinking how good it is to be able to use so many things from our tiny patch of land for Thursdays Thanksgiving dinner. I started humming this beautiful hymn about Simple Gifts.
