"Tea Time Grammie"

While Mei-Ling was here this morning, she spotted a pink napkin on the table and said, "tea" and pointed to the dinning room table, where she then spotted two tea cups, which in turn made her jump up and down and turn in circles saying, "Tea Time". Well, at that there would be no way on earth I would not set the table for tea for the three of us. Melanie helped prepare the tea and we all sat down for a mid morning tea party.
What fun we had teaching Mei-Ling to say "delightful" and how to hold her napkin on her lap and gently wipe the corners of her mouth. She is such a prissy little girl. Sitting there in her smoked bishop dress with ruffled white socks and white shoes. It was her second outfit of the morning since the tending to farm chores with Grammie lent to a bit of dirt and dust.
Grandbabies are just so much fun. Mei-Ling had the pleasure of using her new plate this morning too, now I think I might have to get the tea cup and tea pot that go with it and maybe make some wee little napkins just for her tiny lap. Soon we need to have Elizabeth and Priscilla join us for one of our little tea parties. After tea, a certain little princess was being a little spoiled and allowed to have a tiny pink tulip lolly pop.

What a lovely memory for you. Thank you for sharing it with us. Your little granddaughter is so beautiful. She looks like a girly-girl to me. Glad she likes tea parties. Winona
