A Very Generous Jack Frost

This morning the world looked dipped in sugar, sparkling in the sun. I feel so very blessed to have eyes to see this and a camera to capture it. The early morning came with freezing fog and what a beautiful footprint it left.
As I wandered around this morning, looking at the profound beauty, I couldn't help but think of this quote I learned so long ago...."Nature and revelation alike testify of God's love. Our Father in heaven is the source of life, of wisdom, and of joy. Look at the wonderful and beautiful things of nature. Think of their marvelous adaptation to the needs and happiness, not only of man, but of all living creatures. The sunshine and the rain, that gladden and refresh the earth, the hills and seas and plains, all speak to us of the Creator's love."
~Steps to Christ~
Our area is loaded with fossils and its often as simple as just looking down to find one. I found this one in Melanie's driveway yesterday.

You have an eye for beauty--and a very good camera.
One of the better quotes from that author, well worth memorizing.

Oh,oh OH! What great ice crystal pictures.

Morning Minion, you guessed it. She so totally has that passage memorized. We used to quote it in unison as teenagers whenever 'the Spirit moved us' or just for fun.

(she was better at it than me.)

We get a few days of freezing fog every winter - we call it pogonip. Your photos are gorgeous.
